Camp Rules

1. What all Baltic Jamboree participants should know
Lithuania‘s, Latvia‘s and Estonia‘s joint camp is a place of scouts meeting, friendship and communication. This event is based on scouts values, scouting principles, scout promise and laws. Participants must familiarize with camp rules and strictly stick to it. Each leader is responsible for his under-age participants during the trip to the campsite. During the camp participants are looked after by subcamp leaders.
2. Participants‘ identification
Identification sign must be worn all the time. It is not allowed to give your identification sign to other person.
3. Participants‘ outfits and uniforms
Whole organization uniform must be worn during camp opening and closing ceremonies. During other activities outfits should fit with scout scarf.
4. Programme participation
Youth programme participants must participate in all activities if subcamp leaders didn‘t say otherwise. Everybody must follow schedule and be in time.
5. Camp protection
Protection has the rights to arrest people in the campsite and bring them to camp headquarters. When the unit has to leave its subcamp, the other unit has to warrant subcamp‘s security or to leave a watcher.
6. Leaving the camp
Camp protection has all the rights not to let participants‘ guests or other persons enter or leave the campsite without the headquarters permission. The campsite may leave only programme participants with their leaders.

7. Removal from the camp
Participants who break the rules will be expelled from the camp. Their leaders must take care of them. When the participant is expelled, camp fee is not repayed.
8. Inappropriate behavior
Alcohol, tobacco:
Because of health, educational objectives and safe camp is without alcohol and tobacco. Consequently it is forbidden to use, have or sell alcohol and tobacco in the campsite and outside the campsite (if it‘s in the programme, i.e. excursions and hikes). Camp protection and subcamp leaders can ask the participants to show their stuff to be checked. Narcotic drugs are strictly forbidden.
Ethnical differences:
The camp organizers strongly recommend not show your economic or cultural distinctiveness, which could cause other nations, cultures and participants displeasure.
Relationships:
It is expected that participants will show mutual respect and will not appear their intimate feelings and relationships in public.
9. It is not allowed to:
Carry or possess dangerous weapons
Import food products without consulting with camp leadership Burn fires, except specified places
Spill used water into the lake
Wash in the lake using sanitary measures
10. Camp participants must:
Recycle trash. Wash only in the designated areas. Use only subcamp toilets. Keep dishes only in the designated area.
